First of all let me just say that this is a lovely machine. I’m a sucker for all the bells and whistles and there are enough here to keep one occupied.
Having said that, here is my experience of this PC.
The first one I bought was dead out of the box, ‘DOA’ was how the general manager of Acer UK put it.
Having got a refund, because no more were in stock, I bought another on line for home delivery. I was in heaven that first month ‘playing’ with my new PC. Then all of a sudden it unexpectedly lost power when it was on, or when I powered it on, it wouldn’t!!! Sometimes the powering on worked and sometimes it didn’t. It went back to Acer but according to them it worked fine. Mmmmm…..strange that. When the PC was delivered back to me it had a dent in the chassis. Needless to say I was not a happy bunny. After complaining I managed to get a full refund.
If this PC had been trouble free it would have been a 5 star, no doubt about that.
